When you book audiovisual equipment through Boston AV Hub, we collect personal information necessary to process your rental, dispatch logistics, and provide dedicated technical support. This information includes:

  • Contact Details: Your full name, email address, and mobile phone number.
  • Delivery Information: Physical street address, apartment or suite number, city, and ZIP code within our Greater Boston service area.
  • Billing & Payment Data: Credit or debit card billing address and tokenized payment authorization details. Payment transactions are processed directly through Stripe. Boston AV Hub never stores raw credit card numbers on its servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information strictly to operate and fulfill our home and outdoor cinema rental services. Specifically, this includes:

  • Processing rental transactions and securely vaulting payment methods on file for incidental protection per our Rental Agreement.
  • Coordinating automated white-glove courier delivery and scheduled pickup directly to your door.
  • Sending critical, automated transactional text messages (SMS) regarding your delivery window ETA, real-time driver tracking links, and gear return coordination.
  • Delivering on-demand technical support and cinema setup assistance.

SMS Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

Strict Carrier & Privacy Shield: Boston AV Hub respects your personal privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or broker your contact details, phone number, or rental history to any data aggregators or external marketing agencies under any circumstances.

Data Security & Encryption

We implement rigorous, industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of your personal data.

All sensitive financial transactions are securely managed via Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 Certified) utilizing bank-grade TLS/HTTPS encryption. Card-on-file vaulting is handled via secure Stripe tokens; our team and systems never have visibility into your full cardholder verification values (CVV) or primary account numbers.
